We are looking for a Senior BI Expert – Marketing Analytics to join a long-term project for our German client. You will work in collaboration with a marketing agency and internal stakeholders to develop and enhance marketing reporting and analytics solutions. The role combines hands-on Power BI work with analytical thinking and stakeholder interaction. This is not a pure reporting role — we are looking for someone who can think in terms of data models, KPIs, and business impact.


Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize Power BI data models within the existing marketing stack

  • Develop and enhance marketing performance dashboards

  • Translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions

  • Work with data from CRM systems, digital campaigns, and web analytics

  • Define and refine KPI logic in collaboration with marketing stakeholders

  • Optimize performance of reports and data models

  • Establish standards for reporting quality and data consistency

  • Mentor and support a BI Specialist within the team

The scope and complexity of responsibilities may grow depending on your seniority and ability to take ownership of data solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in BI / Data Analytics

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization)

  • Solid SQL skills

  • Experience working with multi-source data environments

  • Ability to translate business questions into structured analytical solutions

  • Strong analytical and structured thinking

Nice to have:

  • Experience with marketing analytics or performance reporting

  • Experience working in B2B or enterprise environments
