We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client operating in the field of aviation software systems. The role focuses on leading software delivery projects and coordinating development teams responsible for solutions supporting airport operations, communication, and data exchange within the aviation environment.

We are looking for a strong senior-level project manager with proven experience delivering software products to clients, strong stakeholder-management capabilities, and a good understanding of both Agile and traditional delivery models.

Job description

  • Lead end-to-end software delivery projects

  • Coordinate cross-functional software development teams and ensure successful project execution

  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, budget, and delivery milestones

  • Drive stakeholder communication and align expectations across business and technical teams

  • Manage change requests, priorities, and project delivery challenges

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support Scrum/Kanban ways of working where applicable

  • Navigate hybrid environments

  • Oversee project quality, issue resolution, and release coordination

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in software delivery projects

  • Strong background in leading IT/software development teams

  • Experience delivering customer-facing software solutions

  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments

  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills

  • Experience managing project scope, budget, timeline, and risks

  • Technical understanding of software development lifecycle is highly desirable

  • Experience in aviation, transportation, or mission-critical systems is an advantage

  • Certification such as PRINCE2 is a plus
