Job description

• Coordination, Steering and prioritization of development efforts for tools used by Test Automation Engineers in aviation industry
• Creation of test concepts for new and existing specific IT solutions with colleagues in Vienna 
• Develop and maintain test case specifications based on functional requirements across all test levels
• Develop and maintain automation of test cases based on an existing framework (Java)
• Preparation, execution and control of manual and automated tests and test sets across all test levels
• Interfacing between Test teams in Košice and Vienna

Personality requirements

• You already have experience working as a Test Automation Engineer or in similar roles
• You have basic experience developing software in Java, SQL, SOAP and REST webservices
• You are familiar with the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• You have a good knowledge of methodology, software test tools (such as Xray, Selenium, SOAP UI, Postman, Mockito), frameworks and current trends in the Software Quality sector (ISTQB Technical Test Analyst and/or ISTQB certification Foundation level or higher preferred)
• You are open to spending an initial period of up to 2 weeks on-site to build up domain expertise in IT systems and get to know your colleagues better. This will help you gain critical knowledge and foster collaboration with the team from the start
• You have good English and at least basic German language skills (written & spoken form)
