As a Java Developer, you will be involved in projects mainly focused on healthcare. You will create, modify and maintain applications using the Java language and Spring Boot framework.

Specifically, you will:
- Create and modify Java applications for various healthcare-focused projects
- Use the Spring Boot framework to create applications with high scalability and high availability
- Collaborate with a team of developers, testers, and project managers on the planning, implementation, and maintenance of projects
- Use Agile methodologies to manage projects
- Work with databases and middleware technologies
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues

Personality requirements
Qualifications
- Experience with the Java language and Spring Boot framework
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of databases and middleware technologies
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Previous experience developing applications for healthcare would be welcome but not necessary
Deep knowledge of:
- Professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
- Coding standards
- Code reviews
- Source control management
- Unit testing
- Having a good grasp of Java and Spring Framework
- Profound knowledge of REST-APIs and the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with data models is a desired asset
- Critical thinker and a problem solver with analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Previous experience with Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence
- Team player, open-minded, and highly engaged and invested
- Developer’s language is English, German is nice to have
- Be ready to work in local scrum team using agile methodologies
